Which canopy should I choose?
We supply a wide range of canopies for different applications and can also supply bespoke canopies to fit your particular requirements. Read our Canopy Guide on how to select the canopy that is right for you or alternatively look at some of our blog posts which give more detail on the different canopy options.
I would like to clad one side of the canopy is this possible?
It is possible to provide cladding for one or both sides of the canopies. On certain products the options for side cladding are available from the drop-down menus. If you want cladding on a product that doesn’t show that option, then contact the Sales Office for advice.
What colour options can I have with my canopy?
We offer different colour options on most of our canopies, simply choose the style of canopy and use the drop down menus to see your choices of colour, roof type and so on.
I would like a canopy that is an odd size. Can you help?
As well as supplying a wide range of canopy kits we can also supply you with a canopy manufactured to your particular requirements. Certain verandas such as the Homestyle Veranda are made to measure so we can accommodate and size and pitch options you require.
How do the legs attach to the floor?
The standard way is for a hole to be dug, the legs put in and the hole then backfilled with concrete. With a commercial canopy we recommend the legs are cemented into a 500 x 500mm block. On certain models such as the Homestyle Veranda base plates can be supplied which are then fixed down to a concrete slab.
How easy are the canopies to install?
All our canopies have been designed to be installed by anybody with some DIY skills. All our products come with detailed Assembly Instructions (you can see these on our site by clicking on the Brochures Page or on each individual product item). With all canopies you will need at least two people to install the canopy and with same you may need to install the posts into the ground so some "setting out" may be required. If you are in any doubt then please either contact a qualified builder or call the Sales Office.
What does projection mean?
The projection of the canopy is the distance from the wall to the front of the canopy this is normally measured in millimetres.
How long can my canopy be?
The canopies sold by The Canopy Shop are of a modular design, this means that you can have a canopy of infinite length (subject only to the amount of space you have). If you are looking for a canopy that is bigger than those listed within this site please contact us to provide us with details of what you are looking for and we can advise you of the size and price of the canopy that you will need.
Where do your canopies come from?
The majority of our canopies come from UK suppliers who we have traded with for many years. The Canopy Shop has been selling canopies and verandas for nearly 20 years and most of our suppliers have been with the whole of that time.
