Why should you buy a patio roof?
If you don't think you're getting the most out of your garden because of the weather, a patio or decking roof is an excellent, cost-effective, way of increasing the liveable space in your home. Providing shelter from rain, shade from the sun, and privacy from the overhead windows of your neighbours, a patio roof gives you an 'outdoor room' that you can use for more of the year than your existing patio or deck. What should you consider when buying a patio roof?
All our canopies are manufactured in the UK, using aluminium or GRP, and polycarbonate roofing. Lightweight and strong, aluminium structures are simple to install, and you do not need to worry about painting or rust because the aluminium is powdercoated, protecting your carport for many years. Our canopies are available in either brown or white finishes.
The multiwall polycarbonate sheeting in the roof is also lightweight but very strong (the inner layers of bullet resistant glass are made from polycarbonate!) and unlike glass roofs it's a very safe, shatterproof material. Unlike a wood patio roof, polycarbonate will allow light though creating a pleasant atmosphere. It also offers advantages over a glass roof in that the polycarbonate diffuses strong sunlight so you don't suffer from glare. We offer polycarbonate sheeting in clear, opal and bronze tint finishes.
You should choose a style of canopy that suits your home. Our Homestyle Multi Purpose Canopy range, which attaches directly to you house wall, has simple uncomplicated looks that suit a wide range of different house types.
If you are looking for something more modern and minimalist you might want to consider our Weatherguard Cantilever Canopy range. These have elegant lines and no legs to obstruct your view of the garden! You can place the Cantilever Canopy at whatever height your prefer on your house wall (as long as there at least 7 bricks of the wall above the canopy roof).
Take measurements to work out what size you need. We offer a wide range of different projections, from 1.5 metres right up to 4.0 metres, and because our canopy designs are modular you can easily get the length you need.
